LOL! Well, I'm not sure if bravery had anything to do with the gardener planting them side by side... maybe he got them mixed up or just didn't know how they'd look.... or didn't care?

I think in this case the award for bravery goes to the watercolourist who not only painted them "as is" but, what's more, managed to pull it off so beautifully!
I think the green does the trick - it keeps these two clashing colours a bit apart!
